How It Works — Operator Notes

Rotate the fly wheel in the anti-clockwise direction to bring the zigzag blade down through the fabric. Use the ratchet handle lever for the final cutting effort — it also provides quick reverse movement so you can reposition the table without spinning the wheel back.

Set the sample size against the inch graduation on the guide plate before each cut. Keeping the guide plate free of lint and aligning the fabric edge consistently is what keeps samples the same size.
