The Fabric Rolling Machine from Niruma Textile Machinery is built for fabric units that need finished fabric wound into tight, even, correctly measured rolls. A built-in fabric length counter meter records the length as the fabric rolls, so every roll leaves your machine with a verified metre reading — removing the manual counting that causes disputes in domestic and export shipments.

Roll quality depends on controlling creases and keeping the edge straight, and this machine handles both. A bow pipe / scroll roll controls crease formation, a selvage guider keeps the rolling straight, and set tension controls let you tune the winding pressure for different fabric weights. CNC-aligned rollers with perfectly aligned shafts ensure the fabric moves smoothly without snagging.

Speed is set with an AC inverter variable frequency drive controlling both speed and forward / reverse direction, driven by an imported gear box. We supply this fabric rolling machine as a textile machinery manufacturer and exporter based in Odhav, Ahmedabad since 1980.

Why Choose This Machine

Accuracy and quality: The fabric length counter gives a verified metre reading on every roll, while CNC-aligned rollers ensure smooth rolling. Straight edges and consistent measurement both reduce customer complaints.

Enhanced control: Set tension controls and variable speed let you fine-tune the rolling process for everything from voile to denim, reducing fabric wastage and improving roll appearance.

Crease-free results: The bow pipe / scroll roll prevents hard creases forming during winding, which protects fabric quality and avoids rejects at the customer end.

Straight, neat rolls: The selvage guider keeps the fabric edge aligned while winding, so rolls are straight, tidy and stackable for storage or container loading.

Reliable drive: An imported gear box with an AC inverter VFD gives smooth speed control and the strength to handle heavier fabrics without slippage.

Trusted excellence: Built, assembled and trial-tested in our own workshop, and backed by installation, commissioning and service support from Niruma Textile Machinery.

How It Works — Operator Notes

Align the fabric selvage with the selvage guider, set the required tension for the fabric weight, and select the speed on the AC inverter VFD. The counter meter records the length continuously as the fabric winds onto the roll.

The bow pipe / scroll roll should be set to give a slight bow across the fabric width. Correct bow control is the single most important factor in preventing creases in the finished roll.

For very heavy fabrics such as denim, reduce the speed and increase tension gradually. Over-tight tension on heavy fabric can cause the roll to form a cone, which makes handling and transport difficult.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions buyers ask most often about this machine.

What is a fabric rolling machine?
It is a machine that winds finished fabric onto a core in a tight, even roll. This Niruma model combines a fabric length counter meter, variable speed, crease control, selvage guiding and tension control so that every roll is measured, straight and free of hard creases.
Why is a fabric length counter important?
A built-in length counter meter measures the fabric as it rolls, giving a verified metre reading for each roll. This removes manual counting, reduces short-delivery disputes and speeds up export documentation.
How do you prevent creases while rolling fabric?
A bow pipe or scroll roll is fitted to create a slight bow across the fabric width during winding. This keeps the fabric relaxed and prevents hard creases forming in the finished roll.
What is the function of the selvage guider?
The selvage guider keeps the fabric edge aligned while winding, so the roll comes out straight, tidy and stackable. Straight rolls are essential for container loading and for automated fabric handling systems.
Can the rolling speed be adjusted?
Yes. An AC inverter variable frequency drive controls machine speed as well as forward and reverse direction, so one machine handles both slow careful rolling and fast bulk output.
How is this different from a fabric inspection machine?
Our fabric inspection machine combines an inclined inspection table for visual defect checking with rolling. The plain fabric rolling machine focuses on winding, measuring and roll quality. Choose the inspection machine if you inspect fabric in the same pass.
