How It Works — Operator Notes

Select the programme on the touch screen, enter the required sample length and the machine moves the sliding table to that position. The red laser line gives the exact zero-mark reference on the fabric so the operator aligns the ply accurately before the cut stroke.

For heavy fabrics the plies should be laid flat and evenly aligned against the guide. The machine then cuts up to 60 mm in a single stroke without vibration. For lighter fabrics, a lower layer setting reduces the effort required at each cycle.

Routine maintenance consists of blade replacement, worm gear box lubrication and a periodic check of the scale bar calibration. Niruma supplies spare blades and gear box oil with every machine.
