The Pneumatic V Grooving Machine from Niruma Textile Machinery cuts clean, precise V-shaped grooves in cardboard, MDF and thick board so the material folds exactly along the line you mark. A grooved board folds sharp and square every time — without cracking, bunching or out-of-square corners that ruin a rigid box.

Grooving quality is set by three things, and this machine controls all three. The pneumatic cylinder drives the blade with steady, repeatable pressure so every groove is the same depth along its full length. How It Works — Operator Notes

Set the blade depth for the board thickness before starting. A groove that is too shallow will crack the board on folding; too deep will weaken the fold line. Run one test piece and fold it before starting the batch.

Place the board square against the alignment stop so the groove runs exactly parallel to the edge. On box work, groove all four sides so the folds meet cleanly at the corners.

Feed boards flat and steady — lifting the leading edge mid-cut can cause a step in the groove depth. Keep the pneumatic supply clean and dry for consistent blade pressure.
